Important information for players traveling from outside the European Union (EU)


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions may apply to players traveling to the Dutch Junior Open from outside the EU. All relevant information is published on the Dutch Government website. The information is updated regularly.

Before traveling to the Dutch Junior Open be sure to check which rules the Dutch Government has imposed to combat the COVID-19 virus and if travel restrictions are applicable or self-quarantine or a negative COVID-19 test result is required.

Update COVID-19

Although the COVID-19 pandemic is at present still gripping the world, Golf Club Toxandria expects to be able to host the Dutch Junior Open this year from 14 to 17 July 2021. At the moment, strict measures are still in place in the Netherlands and other countries to combat the corona virus, but it is expected that events such as the Dutch Junior Open can be organized from 1 July onward. Restrictions will undoubtably apply and the Championship Committee will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of players, coaches and spectators. The Championship Committee is following the developments closely and will update the status of the Dutch Junior Open 2021 regularly.

Live cooking

On Friday evening after the third round of play, players, spectators and members of Toxandria Golf Club enjoyed live cooking on the terrace of the club house. Anette and the staff of Toxandria's caterer K-eet, were treated to various freshly prepared dishes 

A well deserved breakfast

At the crack of dawn the greenkeeping staff of Toxandria Golf Club start preparing the course for the day's play. After the hard work is done, the enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the club house.

Familiar faces

For many years William van de Luijtgaarden and Kees Schoemaker have been the trusted starters of the first round of the Dutch Junior Open. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
